Forums - PC - AMAZING Steam one day deals!

I'm not buying anything in this round (unlike what I did in all the previous ones).

yeah, I'm skipping all. I own World of Goo and Lucidity, I won't buy a MMO and the others aren't absurdly cheap to warrant a buy lol

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Just 43 minutes till the next sale. Hope there's something I really want :)

I know that there are poeple that would not agree with you, but I do!

It has changed how I purchase games, and it has changed how much I play too! It has even changed what types of games I buy. I've bought more indie titles on steam than ever before. I used to buy bigname games only before, even though I've always been interested in the smaller games as well.

Even though I spend on average just a little bit more than I used to do, I have in a short time bought more games on Steam than I have on all my other formats taken together. I like it a lot.

I'm still wondering whether I should get EVE for 5 bucks, I keep hearing the weirdest/awesomest stuff about this game.

Eve is definitely a good MMO. But I'm not sure whether or not it's a good idea to buy it on steam like that. I mean, you get the 21 day trial for free. And after that you'll pay a monthly subscription fee. Or you could buy the first month for 5€... which in all likelihood is more than you'd pay for the remaining 10 days if you'd use the first option.

I'm just not seeing the point.

I know about the subscription fee, but I'm just owndering if it's worth to buy the game for 5 bucks. I'd quit WoW for a little to play it I'm sure.

When I played Eve (for a week) I didn't actually have to pay anything for the actual game. Only the subsciption fee. So I just don't see the point of paying for the game at all. Just download it for free, take your 2 or 3 weeks of testing and then start paying for it if you want to play beyond that time (and you just might).

Yeah but the expansion is 5 bucks on steam for another 2 mins, not 20 dollars.
