Why not just hype GoW over christmas, and then GoW in March?

Sony are stupid confirmed. Why in the world would they release it after GoW3?! And even if it's before GoW3, it will be so close that it wouldn't matter!

Missed all 4 of those games from the PS2 days so can't wait for them to be re-released.

The only thing I can offer in SCEE's defence is that as the EU market is made up of various smaller markets it generally takes SCEE longer than their American counterparts to go through quality control (they've stated this regarding patch updates before) and maybe the game will be localised into more languages than the PS2 versions?

Wait, the big news here is that ICO/SotC collection may be in the works, not the GoW release date! That could be one of the most amazing things to ever happen, just imagine a SotC remake....
