Mass Effect 2 Surprise Revealed

BioWare has revealed that the Mass Effect 2 surprise is a website redesign.

That's right - the teased "coming surprise" has turned out to be a website redesign, going by the status on the official Mass Effect 2 Facebook page.

"Heading off to meetings for the rest of the day, so no more ME2 till later this week," reads the latest status update. "Tomorrow's surprise, the revamp to the Mass Effect website, is looking really cool and we hope you like the new layout. Visit the Mass Effect 2 website tomorrow for the new look."

If you listen carefully, you'll be able to hear the screams of anguish from the fans.

That is soooo awesome. I'm sorry to hear of this another lackluster hype manouver. Seems to be that we are coming to a point where a company will post a developer going to the washroom and then pointing out as an upcoming surprise.

I like ME and Bioware so i'm not dissing the game or developers specifilcy, just the general motion that many companies seem to be starting to do this.

If that was the case we wouldnt have a dedicated PC forum. Unless it's 360/PC specific news for the game, it should be in Gaming forum.

But still Mass Effect 2 is coming on Xbox 360 (Microsoft) and Microsoft Windows (Microsoft) so I think it should be in Microsoft Discussion...

If say... shio made this thread in the PC section it would be completely different and neither of you would be defending it.

I give in. Il let the mods deal with it how they see fit. If they have any bottle about them and go by the rules... Then yeah.
