Forums - Sony - 2 player Trophy gathering

I really didn't know what to put as the title, but I was wondering if Sony has done anything about allowing multiple accounts play at the same time and both people getting a trophy.

A friend and myself were playing LittleBigPlanet a year ago and I was getting trophies for the game, but he wasn't. I know the 360 allows people who are players 2-4 to get achievements while playing with player 1. Why doesn't the PS3 do that as well. It's killed the chances of him wanting to come over and play PS3 games with me, because he doesn't want to just help me get trophies for things he's doing as well.

Doesn't your friend just enjoy playing with you?

Yeah, but he wants to get the trophies too, if he does the same thing and I get the trophy but he doesn't.

I get a ton of achievements when I'm playing with him.

little big planet does it I don't know about other games.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

We never noticed it.

Again, I think this is another "up to developer" moment. I'm pretty sure that Resistance 2 allows for a second psn login, but not sure about any others

Trophy whore!

Don't worry, I am too

The LBP one is a little complex in that player2's earned trophies don't pop up only player one's. For player 2 to keep their trophy, they need to sign in on that console then sync the trophy with the network before they switch off the console.
