"HD market is definitely dying considering a dozen or two AAA games get released for them every year Tongue out"

AAA no longer means profitable. Take Two lost money when GTA IV came out.

How long is "came out"?  What you said isn't accurate unless you mean that at 12:01 am on launch day, Take Two had not recoupped the entire budget of GTA4.  If that's what you meant, then yes that is true.   According to VG, the game sold close to 6 million copies it's first week.  Assuming Take Two only made $30 per $60 game sold, that's still $180 million in one week.  I think it's doubtful that the budget for GTA4 was anywhere near $180 million.

Because it has a mediocre software library geared towards the casual audience.

This, pretty much exactly.

I'm not trying to be a troll, but I'd rather play Modern Warfare, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Halo, etc then Wii Fit, Wii Sports, etc.

There are still great games to be had on Wii like NSMBW, SMG and MP3 but most of their games are too casual for me.

This isn't asking how you feel.

You know when they see a perceived opening they can't resist.

Umm okay whatever, I'm just giving my answer for why the wii doesn't get the respect wii fanboys think it deserves, don't get your panties in a knot.

that too, but what are those big AAA games that arent making a profit for their company?

Well I don't have the financials on each game, but considering the number of companies posting losses, EA, Ubisoft, THQ, Sony, Capcom, probably quite a few of them are losing money on their big budget titles

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

No, the problem is not big budget titles, but the smaller ones. While The Wii can get away with small games making a profit, It's very hard on the HD systems because they don't sell enough to make that profit. You see TAKE2 banked on just one game to save a whole company, GTA alone made tons of money, but the other games couldnt. So, you see most companies trying big AAA for the HD and the smaller ones for the Wii.

Because video games analysts posting on these gaming sites are mostly FPS fans, Simulation Racing fans or any other graphics whores who doesnt care about games like Mario or Zelda. Worst, they look down upon the Wii as a ''kiddy'' console. For them people who bought a Wii did a terrible mistake, people doesnt understand how better an HD console really is. In short, most of them are totally disconnected from the real world. This is why Wii games always get poor critics on Metacritic.

No.

Anyway, Im tired of this crap, wii fans always crying everyone hates the wii, how wii games should get higher scores than they get, how wii is abandoned by developers, how HD fans call wii fans casuals and stupids, etc..

What else do you want? you have a great console and great games, your godly company is kicking everyones ass in hardware and software sales yet you still complain. It seems that this attitudes help ps360 fans with their bashing to the console and their fans.

But that lacks logic then, since its actually cheaper to make big games on the Wii than on the HD systems, so the idea that making a few profitable games to cover the losses on the majority, would actually be more feasible on the Wii than the HD systems, so if that were true, then in fact we would expect to see more AAA attempts on Wii.

You think MW2 on the Wii would have been a bigger money maker than on the HD system?

Across all three systems combined maybe not, across any of the individual ones probably, since the costs to make MW2 on Wii probably would have probably been a fraction of the costs needed to make it HD.
