Quality isn't the issue, the issue is lack of interest by the majority of Wii users.

If quality was the issue, Carnival games, Mario and Sonic, Ben 10 protector and all those others titles woudn't have sold so well......

Not really, we're back to the fact that Wii fanboys here are not representative of the majority of Wii ownerss. ( how many of you bought Ben10 ?, how many bought Carnival Games ?).

Now pick the best selling HD third party titles and see how many HD fanboys on these forums have purchased them, the percentage is much higher...

 

The funny thing is that it all comes back to the Blue Ocean strategy you Wii guys keep mentionning. Guess what, you're not it, you were into gaming before the Wii............



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

@Averyblund, just because you like a game, doesn't mean most people do, heck I only bought one game on your list, a lot of those games don't appeal to most

So Dumb and Dumber is a better  movie than No Country for Old Men or the English patient with your logic ( seeing how more people went to see it)....

 

And Twilight is a much better book than any Faulkner........

 

Besides the fact that how can you claim Wii owners don't like the games that have not sold ? Have they tried to those games to make an opinion ?

Yeah ofcourse, its only because the current games being released were in the oven way before the Wii was conceived, so just wait another year and theyll be on the Wii.

The only downer is, weve been waiting for this to come true since 2006.

Saw the english patient, terrible move, saw No country for Old men, was so bored by it, so those aren't really good examples you put out as those were terrible films so overhyped.

 

All this proves is that people have different opinions on the same thing, but the market is an objective meaure of how well a game is recieved, and how much appeal it has, if a game doesn't sell, then saying that its a good game is just your opinion, and as our differing opinion on the movies shows, that's all it is, opinions.  However we can clearly see that the market received one creation to a far greater degree and it had greater appeal than the other.

The only people saying the whole 'teh opinion' thing is thrown in by the Nintendo fans as a last ditch attempt, and i have seen it COUNTLESS times. Games are only as good as they get.
