What are the chances of Final Fantasy XIII not getting a perfect score?

These guys sure do make low predictions for FF XIII.

Maybe they are hating on it?

If so it wont receive a perfect score.

It's fine to complain about inflation of review scores.

But it's a bad example when you complain that NSMBWii is overrated. It's the most fun I've had with a game in many many years. If any game deserves 4 10s, it's the pinnacle of 2D Mario.

I know there are a lot of Galaxy fans here, but sorry guys, 2D Mario will always be more fun than 3D Mario.

hmmm.. is it really worthy?

hello how are you.

hello how are you.

Good to see the NSMBWii hype train keep rolling along in other parts of the world.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Some murder mystery, or detective game of some sort I believe. Similar to Hotel Dusk.

A visual mystery novel or something like that for Wii. I believe it got ported to PS3 later.

 Thanks guys!

What the hell is wrong with most of you people? Why is everyone always saying they were 'paid for the score' and 'they were saving their 40/40 for FFXIII, now they'll give it 39". Just STOP. It doesn't work like that at all. Magazine reviewers, whatever the insolent and ignorant internerds may think, have honour and integrity in their reviews. I've worked on a published, well-respected games magazine and I've seen it first hand.

Games reviewers judge games on a case-by-case basis, without bias, without caring what other games they've given top marks to. If there were more 40/40 games recently, it's because there are more top-class games. The trend of more 40s more recently is what you'd expect in a growing medium - games improve as dev talent becomes more widespread, budgets get bigger and consoles more able and the games themselves are steadily improved. For instance, now an FPS has to be at least as good as MW2 to get a high score, for an action game, UC2. That show gaming's improvement, not reviewer moneyhatting. Geez.

If this is in fact the case (and quite bluntly I call bullshit on everything you've said) then you need to tell your industry contacts that they have a serious image problem, and that they should get around to repairing said image. Because as you can see, damn near none of us respect the enthusiast press.
