But is that the original hard drive that came with the console, and the original gamertag setup for that console, AND the first console to download those items?  If you EVER used a transfer cable, swapped a hard drive to a new console, migrated a gamertag AFTER the first profile was setup, or downloaded the same items before on a different Xbox, that is why it won't let you play them while not on LIVE.

Dont buy movies movies, tv shows and games on LIVE then.  You know I heard that retailers have been selling disc copies of games, movies and TV show seasons now?!  Who the fuck knew?!

My backup 360 got banned 2 weeks after the modern warfare leak, my roomie has it in his room and has never played a game online. He has a silver account that connects to live, but he doesnt use bootlegs because I have all the shit he would want to play + he doesnt know how to make/dl backups. The only reason I can think it actually connected to an a live service is for roster updates for NHL 09'(yes a genuine copy).

It kinda sucks because my roomie has bought a few XBL arcade titles and I dont think they work anymore. It dont bother me much though, I did modify the thing and was dumb enough to think that MS wouldnt spy on my console as long as I didnt use bootlegs or play anything online. I also have my main 360, which doesnt have a problem with it.

When was the last time you have known a pirate to buy anything? I think its pretty absurd people are bitching about losing all of this DLC stuff. If your a f'ing pirate your not going to pay for much if anything so that entire point fails IMO.

All of this pirate catching stuff is just saber rattling anyways. I would say only a very small percentage of people were actually banned. Most of the people bitching about losing something are just trying to stir up a stink in order to get their live accounts back. Tuff titty my friend, get a job and stop pirating and you won't have to worry about losing your shit.

It's good MS is takin' care of business.. But if I got fucked over for no reason I would be pissed, although I doubt MS would make a mistake on this with such obvious signs in their verification process, right?

The worst part about getting banned from xbox live is that you don't get back your $50. $50 is a lot of money to play online, compaed to psn which is free.

Then don't do illegal shit, and sorry, but $50 isn't alot of money a year for what I get for Gold. 

And only idiots pay $50.  Live is anywhere from $30-40 a year.
