That would just cause it to rain less. 

Yeah it is inevitable, we can only delay it but the world will end some day.

Then I think your people need better education. Maybe understanding the process of rain would help your people not act so rashly as to burn forests for rain.

For desalination, the real costs are due to energy. If we discover new methods for energy generation (fission) the costs become very manageable. Also, we've made huge strides in the past 10 years for new techniques to lower the cost of desalination.

As for your timetable, morenoingrato, I think you need to read up on what is happening before making such unfounded opinions. I am sorry your country is having issues, but you must understand that the problems aren't as bad as your making them out to be.
