Yeah but if everyone made a thread whose PS3 has never had a problem there would be so many that you wouldn't be scared at all. Its the vast minority that have their PS3 break.

Yeh but I've had someone I know personally break their PS3 after they updated their firmware.

That's incorrect, a PS3 Slim does play PS1 games.

I only have 1 ps1 game, what about ps2 games? Also, I got my ps3 fixed

my ps3 is 40 gig (upgraded to 320)

i don't want to buy for the new ps3 , instead i wanna buy new games (and motion controller) with the money instead

i hope mine never breaks ( i have my ps2 for 8 years and it works perefectly fine)
