Gears of War 2 easily. MW2 is no where near the best looking multiplatform game. Infact I think it has some pretty awful graphics.
The details in Gears 2 are much superior to MW2 in my opinion. We should maybe compare it to killzone2 also.
My favorite games for this gen:
1. Gears of War 2. MGS4 3. Killzone 2 4. Halo 3(Underated by many) 5. Mass Effect
Gears of War 2, no doubt.
Though I must say MW2 looks awesome on PC. Too bad we'll never see Gears 2 on PC...!

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
Again its a no contest for Gears of War 2, its the best looking game on Xbox 360. MW2 may be more appealing to the eyes due to the color palette, but graphically its not in the same league as Gears of War 2.
I think MW2 wins by a hair.
Gears 2 has great texturing... and that's really it. Of course you're gonna look "good" if your textures are highly detailed (and highly repetitive), in the typical screenshot. MW2 is put together better, in my opinion. The whole game is just more engrossing, visually.

Neither have the graphical impressiveness of L4D2.
