Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo failed to deliver!

The first Batallion Wars was excellent. My kids played it and loved it. I played it and loved it. It had wide appeal. With this one being online, it should expand the experience into different realms. I have high hopes, but if it's anything like the first one, I know I will not be disappointed.

It seems like the same is happening to Zack&Wiki, as well as Metroid Prime 3 in Europe. I'm mostly miffed at retailers for not stocking enough of great games, but Nintendo's lack of advertising isn't helping one bit. >_

Maybe Nintendo just wants to concentrate on selling Wiis, and not Wii games. Either way, its Battalion Wars-I don't thinking any significant marketing is going to help sales.

Wow someone needs to take a breath.

First of all BWii is only ment for the people already into the game and therefore minimal advertising is really needed. Also there really is no reason to market when u have other games that you are focusing ur marketing dollars on aka SMG.

Also games get delayed all the time. Not only that but one days worth of playing a game in my opinion is not enough to review a game and all of its extras especially for an advance wars esc game.

"Like you know"

Ok, so review Zack and Wiki. With 20 hours you would have beated it easily.

everyone is harping on the day late thing mentioned but the big thing we need to address is Nintendo's lack of advertising for western styled games. They started so late with the ads for Metroid, and now barely talked up BWII and they mentioned Day of Crisis so little people often speculate of it being canned. Yet Smash Bros. has a never ending supply of updates, there is endless Mario Galaxy vids being posted Wii Fit is all over the place. I really feel like Nintendo lacks consideration for genres that aren't popular in Japan.

Nintendo seriously needs to start advertising games, this was a bad trend they started with the GC and have carried on even into the Wii.

It sounds to me like you're prepared to review this game without even having played it. Nice.
