buying two of these for my two boys for X-mas presents, all the reviews i've seen from people how own them seem to think they are excellent + it will easily sync with our ps3's.  Problem is people with current psp's wont upgrade due to loss of their game collection + its expensive.

the Go isnt a replacement for the 3000. its sold alongside it.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Umm here is a little note, the Japanese hate the 360, or it seems so..

And here's a lil note... the Japanese prefer their systems because they're more reliable

the problem of the psp is piracy
look at the psp game sales and ps3 game sales (no piracy)
piracy killed the psp that's basically it.

how do you explain the ds then?? that has piracy too, why isn't that supposedly dead too??
psp is not dead, just not as popular, it is the only handheld to be able to withstand the onslaught of a nintendo handheld, all others failed and got discontinued...

Well... I'm not counting on it. This is something we've heard before, from Nintendo. When the DS was announced, they said that it was not intended to replace the Game Boy line. Clearly, that isn't the case now...

Uh, this is entirely different. The PSP Go! is a new PSP Model, it plays exactly the same games. The DS is an entirely different handheld than the GBA.

hmm a thread abou tthe pspGo by a ninty fan(no offense intended), ok i seriousy doubt that this could not be more biased.
the pspGo was never meant to be a really huge sucess, but the psp is certainly picking up popularity in japan as it actually sells more over there than the ds, it's just the rest of the world prefers ds over psp, simple as that.

DS has sold over three million copies in Japan this year compared with the PSP´s 1,8 million so clearly DS is selling much more. It´s just the last three weeks that PSP has sold better and part of that is because Japan is waiting for the DSi LL which is launching now. Next week DS will be ahead in full swing yet again. DS is also almost selling as much software than PSP,WII,PS3,360 and PS2 put together in Japan. So yeah, no competiton there.
