Forums - Gaming - oily analogue sticks?

It happens with dualshock analogs for some reason when you don't play for a while.

No "C311" Jokes?

It only does everything..

There is an underground group of poor gamers that sneak into our homes and play our consoles while we are asleep.

THEY ARE SMART AND ORGANIZED.

Because they are poor, they try to stuff their faces with whatever leftovers they can find and that's why the analog sticks are oily.

It's so that you can play for a long time at a stretch without eating. Suck the stick, it tastes like sugar and gives you an energy boost for six hours.

i think it's just the way ps controllers are made. my ps2 ones did the same thing, while my xbox one does not. maybe it traps a teeny bit of condensation or something?

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

It also happens with the C stick on the GC controller.

Yeah i get this too, again only with the DS3. I'm thinking it's either lubrication for the controller itself, or oil built up from my hands that seeps into it and then after not being used for awhile rises to the surface again.
