New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a fantastic game, which I was playing all day yesterday with a group of friends. Playing 4-player is very fun, of course, but very hectic and chaotic.

But playing 2-player? Wow. Just being 2 people is amazing, because it's the perfect amonut of players to keep it going smoothly, in my opinion. It gives all the joy of multiplayer with none of the chaos (Don't get me wrong, chaos can be hilariously fun, but sometimes you just want to be without it).

Me and one of my oldest friends played through the last 2 worlds 2-player and had a blast. If you play with someone you've got good coordination with (we've played co-op many times, against eachother even more, and been best friends for like 7 years so we match up together pretty well), the game becomes even better than it already is. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is one of the best games ... Ever. I don't think I'll ever forget the joy of the 2-player co-op I've had with this game.

Makes me wonder why they never made a 2-player co-op Mario before this. I can see why 4-player took them a while, but it baffles me why 2-player never happened before. Anyone else had a blast with 2-player co-op in the game? Or, hell, had a blast with the game in general. Doesn't really matter, the game is fantastic no matter what way you play it.

Not played 4 player yet but I found 3 player more fun than 2.

Nintendo should have added a 'Modern Warfare' mode just for lols. Like free roam mode but the game would pause and give players objectives with 10 second time limits like "THROW LUIGI DOWN A HOLE" "BURN YELLOW TOAD" "STOMP MARIO". Points for achieving and surviving objectives.

My experience is that it gets very chaotic when someone is not coordinated with the rest. I loved playing it with one other player players. I loved playing it with two other people yesterday that were not really good at the game, but were really trying to get it together to beat the stages. Then a fourth person came in and she was always screwing everything up. If was fun because it was kind of crazy, but it wasn't as fun to play as when three people were playing with some coordination.

Still had a blast!!

Funny how non-gamers can still like this game. It doesn't seem to be the same level of enjoyment as Mario Kart Wii, but my non-gamer friends really liked it.
