So i just got my PS3 back from sony today, and guess what? its a BRAND NEW (not refurbrished.) 80GB motorstorm bundle, same one basiclly except new, i've got a few questions now.

How much is to pay for more warranty? and what does the warranty cover? please let YLOD be one of them.. and yes im not getting a slimline afterall because i just played chaos legion on my PS2 and then on my PS3 and im sorry the quality the PS3 produces > PS2, the PS2 looks UGLY on my HDTV, while the PS3 renders Chaos Legion and VP2 wonderfully or more rather emulates lol, better then PS2 does, it looks better then a PC counterpart would and the audio is 1st class!
Do i have to Format my new PS3 now that it has nothing on it or?...
What is the best method to sync my trophies? i got it working earlier in the morning on my gf-like friends PS3 but i just got mine today and i have to do it all over again ugh...
Whats the best way to avoid YLOD overall?
My PSN ID, is it fine if delete the account on my buds and gf-like's PS3 and it WON't count towards my top 5?

I'll think of more later but now its time to get it the hell on, this time im gonna play it safe and get warranty, damn slims with there non-ps2s emulations. -.-

On a more serious note, congrats seraph. You can generally purchase a 3 year extended warranty from sony for new PS3s... not sure about refurbs but you can try to ask Sony.
