... a lot of people.

Ummm... if you get the PS3 fixed it comes with a new 1 year warranty.

It works like this for every system if I am not mistaken.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

You know that you can keep your save files, right?

....hm I should call Sony and find out. If true thatd be nice.

With a USB key...

Just insert it in your PS3 and copy your save files on it.

Why don't you just fix the PS3? There's no point in doing anything you don't have to... Just fix it, keep your games, and whatever else. You'll be loosing out on backwards compatibility, and OS install... although that's probably nothing.... But, then again, I'm a person who doesn't believe in selling games I already own.

Just fix it, 60GB PS3 > PS3 slim.

Although, it might still be a bad idea to sell the PS2 games, they're cheap, and it's only a matter of time before it's done through emulation on all PS3 models.

I would buy a heat gun for $20 and fix it myself.

OMG dont sell the FF games!
People wont be able to buy them soon enough...and they are very special :D.
