And what company just laid off a bunch of their employees and cut their 2010 lineup by more than a 3rd?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

And what company doesn't sell third party titles as well as the competition? Obviously the PS360 is a lot more viable... why else wouldn't the Wii get as much support with less dev cycle/costs? |
Well, seeing as to how Eletronic Arts doesn't sell hardware, EA?
And don't get me started on HD vs Wii development. Let's just say EA is just kidding this time. Mere days ago they mentioned that they needed to work closely alongside Nintendo so that their games could sell better on the N-systems.
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Well...looks like they're starting off on the right foot.
I don't know if you've been following EA's marketing for Dante's inferno but it's specifically been a bunch of random moves meant to piss people off and rile up great internet attention.
There was this, telling people to harass booth babes and sending critics checks for 100 dollars.

No its just that on Wii, third parties have done a terrible job, whether intentionally or not, third party software on Wii has been largely mediocre or just outright bad
Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Well if pissing people off was their goal they sure accomplished that. I guess also since Dante's is only being released on 360/PS3 that insulting the Wii is probubly a good way to gain die hard fanboy support on both platforms. But is insulting Nintendo a good move? I mean Nintendo's user base is the biggest one at the moment. Is pissing off Nintendo gamers really smart in the long run?
I wonder if Nintendo will get involved? I mean the website and the ads did make Nintendo's console look like utter crap and many people thought it was legit and probubly laughed their butts off at Nintendo. Making a mockery of Nintendo should be answered firmly. Then again if Nintendo did anything about it to EA, EA might pull back more Nintendo support and we all know what happened when EA pulled DreamCast support. Not that it would be possible on the Wii but could EA pulling Wii support effect its sales?
Anyways EA really made a mockery of Nintendo!

I'm a bit late to this thread, but...you DO realize that the Wii's third-party software sales were the highest in 2008, and that situation is likely to repeat in 2009.
Right?
