IGN posted an article about PSPGo performance in Japan.

November 20, 2009 - The latest Media Create sales charts paint a mixed picture for Sony's portable gaming efforts. While the week covering 11/9 to 11/15 saw the PSP grab the top software spot, it also saw the PSP go descend into the depths of four digit sales stagnation.

no it wasn't a success & sales have been very poor

but what can you do.....the system is years & years old

I think SONy should just try to maximise profits from it now & put PS3 focus on everything, & in the meanwhle start making great games for PSP 2

It definitly didn't go down well in japan. I think it could still do ok in the west but needs a price cut. Is there any psp go numbers so far for NA and EU?

iPhone is suppose to be really popular in Japan... Whenever people try and claim "Japan doesn't buy American goods!" people directly point to the iPod and iPhone

PSP Go is one huge fail. I wouldn't advice anyone to pick it up over a 2000 or 3000. It's good to see the public vote no to crap.
