Forums - Nintendo - 2010 RPGs you'll be buying for the Wii

same here, my friend. I plant to get them all

Around the Network

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon
Tales of Graces
Monado: Beginning of the World (I hope for a European release)
Monster Hunter Tri (only if the online thing is free)
FFCC: Crystal Bearers

I'm hyped the most for Tales of Graces and Crystal Bearers E:

Take a look at my photos on flickr

Haha, nice Soriku.

I'd also put Enclave (WRPG) and Dragon Quest X on the list. Yeah, we don't know when DQX is coming but we also don't know when/if Star Ocean 4, Tales of Vesperia or NIS games are coming to the west for the PS3.

OP: I'm probably getting all but Shiren and Sakura Wars

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Noticed the 2010 PS3 RPG thread. Which ones will you be getting? Note that not every one is confirmed for 2010, but the majority are very likely at the very least.

1. Arc Rise Fantasia
2. Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon

3. Tales of Graces

4. Shiren the Wanderer

5. Monado: Beginning of the World

6. Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love

7. Monster Hunter Tri (yeah, yeah, it's not an RPG, whatever :P I still semi-consider it one)

8. FFCC: The Crystal Bearers (if you live in Europe)

I plan to get all of them.

Green = Yes.

Violet Purple = Not fully RPG's, more like Sub-RPG. but yes but not day 1.

Red = No.

Hot Pink = Yes but on PS2 or PSP.

Shiren for sure, likely Sakura Wars, Fragile after the inevitable price drop. Monster Hunter? Maybe. Graces is likely, but only after I play Symphonia 2.

Shiren for sure
Arc Rise Fantasia most likely

That's probably it.

Working on PSZ, DQV and Devil Survivor now.

Will get DQ VI and IX when they come out (I'm guessing in 2010)

Will get FFXIII as soon as I get a PS3.

Will have plenty to keep busy with on the RPG front,
