Ok so this is my problem,

I have European PS3 and i was wondering if it is possible to buy games from the US PSN. I really want to buy some of the PS1 classics, but i'm not sure how to do it. I mean even if I'm able to, will those games work on my PAL PS3?

I already have a US PSN account for demos and stuff. I also have a creditcard. What more do i need to do/know?

Ja je kunt dat. het enigste wat je niet kunt is DLC kopen op de US PSN als je de Pal game hebt.

Hoe en zijn de games dan speelbaar? Ik bedoel stel dat ik Resident Evil 2 haal van US PSN, werkt hij wel op mijn NL PS3?

the games will work, i got some from the US-Store myself

the easiest way is to get a Pre-paid card from the US, you can add the Ammount to your US-Account and buy the games.

i have afriend in the USA who helped me with that, but as far as i know there are stores that ship the cards to europe too.

Met een creditcard weet ik het niet zeker. Ik koop gewoon PSN card uit USA en heb er games mee gekocht op US PSN en die werkten.

Have you bought any PS1 classics? And does it matter if the adress you have for the US account is not your own adress?

I'm in the Bahamas and Bahamian cards don't work on American PSN so I use Entroypay.com for a virtual card and use that virtual card to buy games on PSN.

And yes, the games will work. PS3 games are region free both Disc and Download.

EDIT: Add-ons/Expansions on the other hand is region locked. If you want DLC for an american game you have to buy american DLC. Same with Eu games and DLC. 

Ik niet, maar je kan zelf eens vragen op Nederlandse forums of dat het mogelijk is. Zover ik weet hebben al een aantal vrienden van mij MGS gekocht op US PSN en ze konden het allemaal spelen op hun PAl PS3.
