Forums - Microsoft - Epic - MGS partnership continues. Another Gears and Shadow Complex coming?

Well, it's no surprise that there's gonna be a new Gears, being that it was announced as a trilogy from the start. That and the cliffhanger ending to Gears 2.

However, this does pretty much confirm that it will be an Xbox exclusive like the first two.



Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

You do realize "MS" is not the official abbreviation for Microsoft, right?

What are you talking about? M=Microsoft, G=Game, S=Studio. And when was the first Metal Gear Solid released, and when was Microsoft Game studio founded?

 

Metal Gear Solid was released in 1998.

 

Microsoft Game Studios was founded in 2002.

Metal Gear Solid was released in 1998.

 

Microsoft Game Studios was founded in 2002.

Doesn't matter anyway.  It's not like Konami can trademark an acronym XD

I'm sure neither Epic nor Microsoft want to screw up a good thing. Gears has been very profitable for both.

GeOW3 confirmed! I think they might do a full up game for the next Shadow Complex...ala SC:C.

I wonder how GOW 3 will be (not graphics, but characters and story line), I can't wait for this game! GOW3 will be my third "day one purchase" on my xbox 360.

I'm surprised Epic doesn't use some of that loot to work on another exclusive 360 title...heck...get M$ to split the cost to reduce the risk.
