I downloaded 3.10 this morning and thought everything installed fine.

I went to play Borderlands just now my username Euphoria14 now says *Username1. My EU account is now called "Username2. My Hong Kong account is now called *Username3. My Japan account is still Euphoria@JPN.

Did I just lose my PSN account from this update?

WTF?! I didn't see this happen to me during the update. o_o I look at my profile and it says "dabuddahn", too bad I can't check right now, i am at college.

My internet, display, sound, etc... settings have all been reset to default as well and it is telling me I need to sign up for a PSN account again.

This sucks.


At least all my trophies are still there.

What difference does it make that the User name have changed to you ?? as long as the PSN ID is the same there is no problem.

All you have to do is go to sign up and sign in with an existing account, and put in your details..

Well, i've never had this happen so I didn't know what to expect.

Everything was reset on my console other than my trophies.

Anyways, Euphoria14 still lives.

I just needed to set up everything again, which will annoy the hell out of me if it happens with future updates. Now I need to do the same for my international accounts which I don't remember the e-mails and/or passwords for. That means I need to do it all over again and make all new accounts.

It's a big inconvenience. Now 2 out of 3 (2 out of 3 confirmed anyways) international accounts are gone and I do not know any of the information I entered for them.

Now I need to waste my time and make new e-mails, new accounts, etc... just to regain access to the JPN, HK and EU stores, which I check regularly, especially the JPN store.

May not seem like a big deal to you, but for me this is a pain in the ass.

Just consider it as doing your part to help PSN reach 40 million accounts.

This is probably how they are reaching that high number.

Anyways, I also found that I lost my JPN account.

Now i'm mad. I wanted to download the JPN 3D Dot Game Heroes PSN Trailer tonight.
