hey guys, just wanted to remind you that today is the Wii's birthday! That's right, the Wii is turning the big numbah 3, so make sure to get super drunk today and play your Wii! invite your friends over, get some beer, liquor, whatever, and play the fuck out of your wii today! we owe it to Nintendo!

Also, post here about when you first picked up your Wii on November 19th, 2006 if you feel so inclined.

I waited in line 22 hours for my Wii. I was number 6 in line and I got the Wii, and Zelda on 8:00 am at a Target. I was so happy to finally be playing Zelda!

In Europe so it was Dec. 17th. i think. Pre ordered but still had to choose which bundle i wanted. Think i ended with 5 or 6 games though but didn't go early as i had pre-ordered. Ambled there in the afternoon. Think it was at toys r us.

Oh, hurray!

I ordered my Wii online and it got delivered to my house 2 days before the official release date, with Twilight Princess, Super Monkey Ball and I think Wii Play and Wario Ware too. :)

...All those poor people who waited in line outside for ages, I'd never do that. :p

I actually got the Wii in 2007.

thats part of the fun though! so many nintendo fans with their DSs. it was a great time. but of course, microsoft fans had to come by and troll with their halo 3 posters telling us the 360 was better.

the wii line is the best, people were just genuinely friendly, and nobody was killing anybody (ps3 line) to get it.

i was hella drunk when i wrote the nintendo could give us a little bit more thread, but i am sober right now, getting ready to get drunk later. its gonna be the shit. cant wait. survivor is on tonight too. gonna be a kick ass day.

Microsoft fans had Halo 3 posters ten months before the game released?

Anyway, just like Cheebee I ordered my Wii online (already in August 2006) along with Zelda, Monkey Ball and Wii Play. The European launch was on December 8th for those who don't remember anymore.

i dont know if it was a halo 3 poster, but it was a halo poster for sure. im sure they had halo 3 posters november of 2006 though.
