i know what you mean... the hard part is picking your games...i have 4 or 5 games for my x box quite few on wii.... a couple on ds and a few for psp... dont get me wrong i like frivolous spending but balancing out playing all systemes equally is the hard part.... if i were you i would do like i do and try to get the games that meet one of 2 qualifications. 1.. a game series you have followed faithfully and is a must have or 2.. a game that is simply blowing the charts and boards up has gotten good ratings from game trailers and ign....itll help narrow down what is worth playing in your eyes.

Nope, I got to be able to play them all. Just as I did the last 2 gens and will do again this gen, I will buy all the major home consoles next gen as well.

By that time, I'll most likely have 24 different home consoles. Nice :)

if next gen will be simillar to this one i will be picking up only one console too(1-2 years after all consoles will be released so i will know which one i should get), but i will add to it handhelds from nintendo and sony(and if MS will release real handheld i will pick it up).

I have Wii and 360 and I'm getting a PS3 this winter. Too many great games are coming out for PS3 next year I just have to play them all.

I will forever be atleast a 2 platform gamer. I will always have a high end Gaming PC because to not have a PC is a crime. Easily the best platform in terms of games and useability and graphics. And i will probably get the next xbox. But i could end up getting a PS4 or whatever.

One console, One handheld and my PC are all I need, in fact I have more games than I can finish on just my Wii, add in my PC and the DS, and I don't see ever having a need for a PS3, PSP or 360.

Owning multiple consoles is overrated imo, I mean who wouldn't want more toys; Whats the point to playing every hot game, they come and go anyway, next thing you know, theres something better coming out. Besides, there are other things in life thats more important than pampering oneself endlessly (although I seriously need to take my own dumbass advice right now).

I've always had every console since the ps/n64 generation and do not plan to stop that, every console has its must have exclusives which I just can't resist. My favorite games of this generation are all exclusives: Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Halo 3. PC will always be my favorite platform though.
