I guess the real question is why have 360 owners bought into something which was started by rival fanboys?

Wii Sports, GT5: Prologue, Uncharted, Resistance... Just to name a few.

Don't want to be too much hindsight saying this, bit is definitely possible Forza 3 is a "legs" type title. It is a game that, on the 360, is the best of driving sim games, so ends up being the game of choice of this type, and continues to get sales by people into driving sims.

I just think people should wait until it's been bundled like the games carl mentioned were before saying with or without.

People have been jumping the gun. We don't know if it'll be heavily bundled yet so just say 2.5mil and leave it at that.

I do like Forza 3 yet when it comes to the actual race I think Race Pro is better. Forza 3 is better in pretty much everything else (more cars, better graphics, more tracks,etc.). I just wish Forza 3 had Race Pro AI.  Of course in Race Pro the race cars are usually the same or very close balanced  in races where I had more door to door racing than FM3.  In RP I ran in the middle between two other cars (3 wide)  half way down the track before.

 I'm going to guess 4m for Fm3 sales. I beleive it will be this  high since gamers are more likely to hang on to their copy longer than most games which means less used copy sales and more new copies sold. I can't see myself trading in my copy any time soon.

It's interesting to state this again, it's outselling Forza 2.

Wether it is latecomers to Forza 2 jumping early or true franchise growth, it's too early to tell.

I'm not sure what's the appeal of racing games...but congrats regardless.

To some guys it's something we'd wish we could do. Since we can't, we play Forza or Race Pro or Gran Turismo.
