McAfee blows. And slows down your computer more than iTunes.

Personally I use Avast because it has the least bugs and I never received a virus. Plus it gives more protection vs AVG including Internet shield, P2P, Instant messaging .

Get Avira Antivirus, it has the highest detection rate of all free antiviruses. It's 99.7%.
