Forums - Sony - Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines IGN REVIEW 6.9-----ouch =/

I never understood how reviewers learned to calculate an average, the median of the individual scores here is 7.7 and this is almost always the case.
The final score is probably deserved (I hate handheld gaming) but why have individual scores that don't add up to the final score?
Silliness.

(Out of 10/not an average)

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."
Around the Network

gamespot gave it a 5.5

I regret making this my username, I made this name when I was 13 years old

Life could always get worse, you could be a mod for Neogaf

Why are people complaining about averages?

The gameplay is obviously the most important aspect, and it's only a 6.5. A 6.9 seems seems fairly appropriate.

I know that but what's the point? It seems askew somehow, I've always thought that. The different aspects are this good or that good but the sum and total impression is quite a bit lower or quite a bit higher. Seems counterintuitive to me.
