I just downloaded it and got a message sent to my wii, i read it and it said they may be additional charges i also looked on help on the wii player and it said something on there to, does anyone no if there is any extra charges for using the channel?

As far as I know, the basic stuff is free, and every once in a while they charge if you want to watch a certain specialty program.

I've never known the iPlayer to charge anything extra.

The extra charges are probably from your ISP if you go over your download limit.
