After Reggie's pouting as of late, they seem to be competing now. A console can't live through an entire cycle on wow factor and 1st parties alone, at least it can't maintain staggering sales that way.

Third parties need Nintendo, not the other way around =). Obviously if they are having problems selling on Wii then no one bought Wii for what they are selling. =)))))))))))

Maybe this was just Nintendo saying it had established its own strategy and was not concerned with what others did, per se.

After all, the proof is in the pudding. For the first time ever, Nintendo's new console has outsold its predecessor.
