It's been said multiple times that it's not Suda51 putting the game on PS360, it's the publisher putting it on there.
OT: I'll get it used just for the almost-naked girls mode. x] |
Then who ported it? These things don't just happen.

If it used Natal, wow you would have to Air jerk off to charge his Katana.
I predict the sales of Heroes' Paradise will be less than Modern Warfare Reflex but greater than Chinatown Wars PSP.
I predict the bad sales will be blamed on it being a shitty Wii game instead of it being a late port of an amazing Wii game.
I predict that despite the "less than stellar" sales, Suda51 will be happy to have reached a few new fans, and he will throw a kickass party.
I predict the Wii-exlusive sequel will be quite bodacious and I will absorb fun times from playing it.

it's far from a shitty game, and its far from an amazing Wii game. Its average, the style is the only thing that saves the game from being shitty.

The style is very very refreshing in today's world of bald space marines in brown and grey environments. Suda51 dumps loads of style and personality into his games, and that's why I love him!

while that is true, i don't see a reason why you should care, since you only own nintendo consoles, and those type of games rarely come to them. Yes, Suda51 games have lots of style, but they have shitty gameplay.

Do you actually see this as a possibility, though? I doubt even the combined sales will get close.
I just played the game a bit on a friend's console, and honestly, I can't see the game being enjoyable without motion. It's what makes the combat so awesome, especially the wrestling moves. It's one of the few games in which I've always exaggerated the motions, because I get so into it. Hopefully they'll get the HD solutions working on this?
If Suda51 can't make this fun with a gamepad, he's a poor game designer. He can't use the gamepad as an excuse. The gamepad didn't stop the many hack n slash games throughout history from being fun.

Except they aren't making a brand new game designed for the gamepad. They are porting one designed for the Wiimote. Do you really think it is possible without reworking the game?

How would it have to be a brand new game? You could keep the same story and what not. Just tweak things around so that the gameplay is actually suited for the controller. Similar to how game devs regularly design FPS games with the mouse/keyboard in mind for the PC and the controller in mind for PS360 at the same time (ie. Call of Duty games). It's no different from that. Or how Bioware designs their wrpgs in one way for the PC and one way for the consoles simultaneously. This is nothing new at all.
