Forums - Nintendo - I sent my Wii away for repair...

and it came back today, but it wasn't repaired. I was shocked because I hear nothing but praise for their customer service. Anyone else have this problem with any console?

What was the issue?

Did it get to its destination? That's really odd.

Pixel Art can be fun.

What happened exactly?

It stopped reading game discs and it was displaying artifacts on the screen. It was sent back in a different box with an invoice detailing the repair. There was no mention of the graphics glitch but it did list the drive as being replaced.

I shipped it back out today. I hope it comes back working this time.

That sucks. My Wii needs to go in for repairs soon. But I've been procrastinating. The fan makes a very loud buzzing noise but the console still works. Its so loud I have to turn up the volume on the TV to drown out the loud buzzing noise.

Huh, that's weird. It seems like it might have just gone to the shipping company's distributing center and just came back to you.
