While I haven't watched this interview, and have no intention of watching the interview, I think the interesting element of this is the part that no one seems to be talking about ...

I don't have any numbers at the moment but since the election last year there have been several reports on various political blogs about how Oprah has been seeing steady declines in her audience; which has been unprecedented for the (so called) Queen of daytime entertainment. Now there are countless reasons why this could have happened (including plain-old viewer fatigue), but there are some people who suspect that Oprah removing the illusion of being non-political may have alienated a significant portion of her audience; which would not be much of a surprise being that I suspect that the “Base” of viewership of Oprah’s show are stay-at-home moms, which I suspect would (on average) be far more conservative than Oprah.

Now I could be wrong but I suspect this interview had as much to do with Oprah trying to reclaim lost viewers as it did with Palin trying to sell her new book.

How did Oprah reveal her political bias? What did she say, opinions and stuff other than the new age heal the world stuff i heard from her.

And to the others in this thread: what did sweet Palin do rong in that interview btw?

Oprah openly campaigned for Obama rather heavily during his primaries. She used to have every presidential candidate come on her show for an interview just before the election (Bush, Gore, Clinton, Kerry, ect) but during the McCain-Obama election, she refused to have them on.

And Palin did nothing wrong in the interview, I think. Oprah was kind of dogging her for some questions, and the interview was very....Tense.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

imagine Pain V Clinton in the 2016 elections, could be interesting

My biggest issue with her, is she is a religious radical. Religion is the founding bases for everything she does in her life, and that's the last thing we need in Washington (Well, a socialist is the last thing, but to late for that).
I don't want my leaders defining morality, and then making it law. We have the constitution for defining how my country should expect me to conduct myself. Let's please hire someone who will use that for guidance, and not just look to god.
Obama says we should share the wealth because "it's the right thing to do". Bullshit. It's what he thinks is the right thing to do, and I am sorry, your elected to uphold the constitution, not to figure out whatever you think is right, and then try and make that into law.
Obama is horrible about this, and for the opposite reasons, Palin would be as well, if given the opportunity.

What moral laws did Palin institute in Alaska, though, Mafoo?

Speaking of sharing the wealth, where the FUCK is it? I'm still struggling in college. Barely any aid is given to me during my courses... it's bullshit.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

Oprahs handling of the last election was really bias.

Didn't see it because I was at work but.... Ellen>Oprah
