Wow you think that FF XIII will sell 3 million lifetime in Japan?! I think you´re going to be very dissapointed. I´m guessing 2 million lifetime is possible but noway it will reach 2,5 million and certainly not 3 million.

I hope NSMBW is a huge hit in Japan, Famitsus estimates are nice and it would be great if the game could live up to it but I still have doubts. I feel certain that the game will be HUGE in America and Others but while I´m certain that it will be bigger than Super Mario Galaxy in Japan I´m still unsure of it´s full potential there. It´s going to be exciting!

Dang, in the article itself, it says that FF XIII has already surpassed total (!) pre-orders for FF XII... that game did 1.8 million first week in Japan

@ ioi: how much of first week sales is from pre-orders for this type of game?

And they've raised the predictions for ToG a little. I still think its gonna do better though.

Final Fantasy is just not a big thing nowadays the japanese will go crazy for it but the rest of us...nah wont lose any sleep by not playing it

You're basing that on? Your own feelings towards the game?

FF XIII is getting some hype on the internet and threads about its release date in the west have garnered quite a bit of attention. Don't generalize your own feelings, please.

why would a Nintendo fan 'lose any sleep' over a game (the main game, not the CC crap) that hasn't graced their console for a decade or more?
