I grew up mainly with Nes, Snes, N64. So have always loved most Nintendo games. Roll on MARIO KART Wii.!!!!!!! Mainly fun games I'll buy. Sports games like Football (soccer), NBA, racing, FPS and Cinematic games will be on 360 for me. Purely because I want the graphics to be as good as possible for those games. But platformers and same console multiplay will be on wii. |
Even so, at least rent MLB power pros. You'll see why the series has been around in japan since the SNES.

I'll second the MLB Power Pros recommendation, it's by far the deepest baseball game I've ever seen and I was floored with all the options and deep stats and everything. Plus, it's just hilarious to see all the caricatures of the players. :p
It's not a graphics-intensive game 'cause it's not meant to be a realistic simulation graphically but it does things like reproduce all the parks' exact specifications and stuff. It actually fits really well on the Wii. Plus it's only $40.
If you like soccer, Mario Strikers Charged is great. It's to soccer what Mario Kart is to racing.
Resident Evil 4 Wii is by far the best version of that game and at a $30 budget price is a steal.
Twilight Princess is of course something you should buy if you didn't get it on Gamecube. Metroid Prime 3 and Zack & Wiki are, as was said above, must own games.

I'm getting a PS3, probably order it tomorrow, not sure yet. Hope I make the right decision though. I've never been so insecure about buying a console.
WII is a must buy as it fits perfectly with either both of the high spec consoles and has IMO the best line up for the upcoming months.

Well, what I do when I'm unsure about buying a console is make a list of positives and negatives. Things I take into account are: Are there games that I have to play out right now? Are there games that I have to play in the immediate or near future? Do I have time to play these games? Am I getting a reasonable quantity of quality games for the amount of money I paid? If I'm able to answer yes to all of these then I usually purchase it right away.

I would urge you to hold out on that Onna, but since the 60gb version is fast dissapearing, you better pounce if you want backward compatibility.
Most important for me is the backward compatibility, or else I would be waiting a bit longer ;) I've heard it disappears in Japan as well and since I want a JP version....

Ah I remember the good old days on the PS when Spyro and Crash were awesome games. Yeah, if BC is important to you you should get the system before BC disappears (at least if you are going to get one eventually anyway). I can't bring myself to buy a PS3 yet. I'm still too unsure about its future games, and if it ends up losing BC completely that will probably stop me from ever buying it.
