these games should come out every 2 years and just have dlc to support the game for the year that it doesnt come out.

 

Halo does not come out every year, and this year was a Halo DLC...

Halo Wars is not a FPS, it's a change of pace.


Also like to know a 3 year old console game that keeps uptodate as much as Halo3?

Every few months there is something else coming out for the community, that's the Key that many people don't understand.

I'll admit, I don't play the game that much, but for what it offers and the resorces that have been brought to the game is unmatched atm.

I really do give up when people put Halo above Fifa, Madden, Singstar, Guitar Hero, Final Fantasy, etc, etc.

Halo has a lot of titles for a 10 year old franchise, but I wouldn't call it milked.  The game are good enough and the changes are significant enough that the series is still worth it and not just year after year minor improvements for full price.

Things that are milked:

  • Guitar Hero franchise
  • Naruto
  • Really most any music rythem game (the whole Hero and Band franchise)
  • The Sims
  • Call of Duty (even though MW2 is great)
  • Final Fantasy
  • Raving Rabbids
  • Madden/NCAA (I use to defend these, but the past few years haven't been that significant)
  • Starcraft II will be milked to all Hell

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head

so its ok to charge $60 for dlc on top of the you have to go to the store lol! i see no "downloadable" content in that?!?
