I'm waiting for people to realize that it's the type of game that determines legs, not the console.

It has all the checkboxes to perform well on the 360 -> 4 player local + online multiplayer coop, its an FPS and its an RPG and the Xbox 360 does disproportionately better than the PS3 on I.P which checks even one of those boxes.
Tease.
As far as I can tell, it's also the new IP with the largest ad campaign.

Must have done around 150K on PC, because the October number on VGC for PS360 is a around 150K short of UC2 for October. Of course NPD data isn't the same as the Americas data on VGC but it's about 85% of the VGC Americas data.

Oh course the plot and most of the quests were silly, but that wasn't the point of the game.
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

I dont get it? Borderlands sits at 700k on 360/PS3 combined? And Uncharted 2 did 800k first week?

Somebody facepalm this guy. I'm lazy.

New IP, Uncharted *2* isn't a *new* IP
Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
