95 on Metacritic but not in the running for VGA GOTY?
VGA epic fail!

So I just watched the Gametrailers review...and it still looks like a PS2 game.
Don't get me wrong, even on the PS2 it looked really good and the 720p and hi-res textures are appreciated but I have to wonder if all that effort was actually worth it. The game looks better but looking at the actual environments it's still pretty obvious it's a PS2 game.
Not hating on the game here, I'm just wondering if the effort they put in upping everything was actually worth the trouble.

Well according to an article I saw on here they said it only took about a month to do everything. And if that is the case then I can imagine that yes it would easily be worth it. Plus it does allow some PS3 owners, who never had a PS2, to experience the originals before the the final one comes out.
OK, I was wrong it was three months, but still worth it

Hmm, I don't really believe that but if that is the case then I suppose that would be worth it.

Well, it's not really a new game, just a collection of (super awesome) old games...

it took 6 months to port it

for all the trash talkers, gow collection is great, hd does make a difference, over all the game runs and plays great, and 2 games about 25-30 hrs of gameplay, and a gow3 demo for 40 bucks is a great value, maybe not for the xboxers, they have to pay 60 bucks for left for dead 2 which should of been dlc, but great games and a great value.
