Forums - Nintendo - do u want the next zelda game for the wii, to continue the mature theme ?

I find it sort of funny that you say mature theme, what wasn't WindWaker a mature theme you ran around cutting monsters up and blowing things to smitherenes. If you mean not cel shaded you should say Non-Cell shaded. I for one like Nintendo's level of maturity in TP and WW. If their was tons of blood and decapitations it would ruin the games appeal.

That being said I would love to see Nintendo's Zelda team create a new more mature IP. Something to counter GodOfWar. But as I said a new IP not make Link a brutal slaughterer, create a new character and plot with some more mature visuals!

I have been thinking very hard about what the new battle system could be like. I have no idea, since OOT pretty much laid a blueprint that's still being followed. Whatever Shigsy does, I'm sure we'll all love it. The man is a genius after all.

I'd very much prefer a WW style game for Wii, that'd be awesome beyond words. But Nintendo has already decided to go for the TP-style, clearly. Too bad, looks like I'll have to make do with the handheld Zeldas for the Toon-look, but they're not the same at all (although still awesome in their own right).

I'm sure Zelda Wii will be incredibly fantastic, definitely, but at the same time I wish we'd get another console-Zelda like WW. Ah well, maybe one day...

I would love Zelda to be ultra mature with lots of gore and blood. I love violence and brutality in games.

As soon as it starts being mature I will make my decision. Did you mean you would like it to have realistic graphics? That is not even remotely connected to having a mature theme. The last truly mature game I played was probably Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Realistic art style with tons of blood and gore is, quite possibly, the furthest you can get away from being mature. Mature never means pandering to testosterone driven adolescents.
