back in the day of PS1 i knew that piracy was around in the Video Games market but thought it was 'alright' & 'cool' i was only young though at the time (about 10)

NOW i had no idea that Piracy was getting so bad, i only learnt about a year ago about how bad PSP piracy has got, i mean come on they cant even get a games with over 2 million sales anymore on a 50,000,000 selling system and SONY tryed to battle it and has failed, the platform is all but dead now

and this brings me to 360, i only just learnt how bad this was, i knew it was a few thousand but not millions, Please will you stop thinking its a good idea to pirate games, this is getting stupid.

all i can say is well done microsoft, i have huge respect for you banning over 1million people, that amazing! and they still havent stopped. 

Piracy is going to kill the games industry and you think its a good idea? GROW UP MAN!

PC is ruined due to Piracy, Well done all PSP and PC gamers out there who still BUY there games like me!

how bad is piracy on PS3 and Wii? i havent looked into this

Piracy on PS3 is nonexistant for now. I'm not sure about Wii.

I'd never pirate a console/handheld. But PC pirating is just far too convenient, and lets me save extra money for stuff like food and college textbooks.

yup, i 100% agree! but there are other ways that Artists make there money now and that Touring. They have found a great way to make this money back up.

in Video Games what other way will they make money of everyone downloads it? 

What makes you think that all people who pirate games thinks its okay to do it? And I don't think the gaming community will take your words to heart and stop pirating, its the industry that needs to adapt and change because the public won't.

true, my post on 1 site wont change a thing, my post on a million sites wont change a thing. BUT hopefully one person will think about what they are doing and think about what it ill do to gaming if it continues.

Really? How old are you? You seem rather naive. You don't think that kids and old ladies who shoplift know that its wrong? They still do it. People who set other people's home on fire or key their car? Everyone, or practically everyone who pirates games knows its wrong, they just don't care or do it anyway and that's my whole point.

An argument? I'm not arguing that piracy is right, I was simply adressing your point in the OP that people who pirate aren't aware that its wrong.
