Most of the best multiplatform games have became exclusive to the HD consoles, not because of any "anti-Nintendo" bias, but only because of the Wii's "limited" tech and power... it's nothing new...
Now of course, most of the best games last gen were exclusive to a console even less powerful, and suddenly, it seems impossible to do better on Wii, because it's "SD only"... a real shame...
But in fact, all the devs money has been invested on PS3, and very fast on 360 as well, to be sure to recover the (very expensive) costs associated with this "high-tech" generation...
Wii was supposed to be a joke and a failure, then a fad, and is now a "casual thing only", remember? That's the way this gen has evolved right from the start, with a very well operated propaganda by Sony and Microsoft, and nothing that Reggie might say will change that...
We'll have to wait for the Wii's successor to see a real change... Sony and Microsoft will always have exclusives of their own, but Nintendo needs AT LEAST all the best multiplatform games, in addition to their own exclusives, to attract ALL the types of gamers, and be a "real" market leader this time, just like Sony was last gen with the PS2...
I know many Nintendo fans don't agree with me, as it's something i've already written in a few other threads... but that's just the way things are: Reggie can't state that "Wii is a console for everyone" when so many famous and successful games are not there at all...
Nintendo needs all the CoD's, the GTA's, the AC's, the RE's and the FF's... even if most Nintendo core fans don't care at all... or think it's not that important because Nintendo is doin' fine, and doesn't really need to offer more choices and more options to the customers...
But the way things are, many customers will also buy one of the other consoles, and will spend a large part of their gaming budget on the competition's hardware and softwares... or won't ever touch the Nintendo's console, of course...
Nintendo needs to rectify this, and then they will have them all: the usual fans, the casuals, the open-minded, and the hardcores... they have A LOT of money to do so, they can be quite creative and original when at their best, they have excellent engineers and may also buy the best patents in this world, so they're in the best position to smash the competition once and for all... i wish them good luck...
