360 295,500 PS3 330,000
That would put 360 only down 5% YOY which is fairly good considering.. and the PS3 would be up around 50% yoy.
Jesus the PS3 did awful last year... this years 360 figure is almost 40% higher than the PS3 at the same time last year. Kinda puts the 360 current performance into perspective... not at all bad.

But we need to consider the actual variables. There is a bundle which sold 75k and still some walmarts with the sale all last week according to posters here.
Its good when we put the numbers side by side, but when we look at how or why we see its not simply staying power keeping its sales. In the same breath you cant hold marketing strategies against a company, a sale is a sale, but when discussing whats "good" im assuming your implying its holding its sales so across the board thats a good thing, whereas its not "holding" its sales its slightly dropping even with a bundle of the top selling game of all time week one selling 75k and a deal for a $199 xbox with a $100 gift card at some locales.
In this context i dont think its healthy for the system, but as long as MSFT is willing to do things to keep its sales up then it simply doesnt matter.
