If your a core gamer... play multiplayer... its harder then you think... and funner to of course >_>

It's like peering into a window of this strange, other world

I've found it a little tough in my first hour+ of play, but that's more because i'm not used to the nuances of control. Also i'm way too used to using Luigi in the original NSMB, and being stuck with Mario is a little restricting.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I would be glad if it is truly this hard a difficult game.

EDIT: In retrospect, that was REALLY....never mind.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Does that mean it's not gonna sell the way they're hoping?

It wouldn't be SMB if it was any different. Original SMB series was difficult.

NSMB DS was pretty easy, wasn't it? And besides, it's a different time now. I hope this doesn't stop too many people from playing the game.

Nintendo is riding on this game pretty hard, if it fails like Wii Music and Animal Crossing there will be severe consequences. We might see Nintendo go Activision on us, more so than they ever did.

I doubt it'll be that hard for people used to it, but I guess you'll die a few times on many of the levels and maybe a lot in a few of them, which is great considering the directing this kind of game was going in the recent past.

That being said, I bet they did extensive testing to assure that it wouldn't prove so hard it's frustrating to the average newcomer, so most levels shouldn't be so hard they'll have to let Super Guide play 90% of the game for them.

Played for a few hours with my friends. We're on world 3-4 and I'm telling you right now the game is hard, but it has basically infinite lives. we never got any game over. clearly this guy just gave up.

the funny thing is I have 4 lives yet... but if I were to guess I died around 40 times...

Though I never got the 0 lives screen is just I play multiplayer kind of strictly since this is the most fun I ever had which ties to my kirby 64... also... when I die in multiplayer... I dont get mad... I just laugh for some odd reason :/

I honestly doubt it. I just have a feeling its gonna be like Super Mario Brothers, which is a perfect difficulty.

It may just be hard for kids by todays standards :P

CURRENTLY PLAYING:  Warframe, Witcher 2
