It should be offered free through the PlayStation Store. You into the store, find it, download it, it gets added under the PlayStation Network section with Home, the main store and account management. Now I know this could potentially hamper how many people join Free Realms on PS3, but I think we should have a choice over what takes up space on our PS3 XMB's. What does everyone else think? Add your own ideas as well.

Free Realms is horrible. I'd say a PSN download, don't force people to use it like Home.

Since when did Sony force us to use Home? They haven't sent their army to my house yet, at least.

But I do agree it should be a download and go into your game section.  I would love to have a PS3 version of Free Realms. 

How does Sony make money on Free Realms? Free download with in-game purchases to enhance the experience? If so it would be wise to stick with that plan for the PS3.

Do you get trophies in the game ?

The PS3 version could add trophy support, but what I was thinking was that the game doesn't really fit the retail disc distrubution type.

So release the FREE game through the PSN store. Once you download it from the store, then it appears in the PlayStation Network section of the XMB. The ones who don't want it, don't have to have it take up space in their XMB.

It would remain free. Just have to download the game from the store first.

Now I also know that this can hamper the activity of the PS3 version. Since it wouldn't be a system wide firmware update, you wouldn't see it on the XMB. If you don't pay attention to the gaming news, you wouldn't know it was available.

Having a install base wide update increases the chances of people seeing it, therefore increasing the chances of people wanting to give it a try.
