Is UK included in Black Friday tradition (and the Thanksgiving Day?) or only USA?

Only USA. Even Canada is not included.

But Canada has Boxing Day which is december 26th.

I'm pretty sure neither traditions are in the UK, only USA, due to our country's emphasis on capitalistic culture, we buy like crazy that day for Christmas gifts. It's usually fun if you like crowds, competition, or getting stuff finished early, but it can get dangerous. Like last year, the guy who opened the door to let shoppers in was  trampled to death.....

More specifically, because its the biggest shopping day of the year, as all the best advertisments come out in the Thanksgiving Day newspapers, its been the traditional day all major retailers accounting books first go from red to black, i.e. losing money for the year to making money.

Thus "Black" Friday. Now its turned into a massive sales extravaganza where you generally find the cheapest deals in just about any category as long as your willing to get up really early and wait in long lines in front of a bazillion stores.

I think im gonna get some gum, I be out.

I'm really looking forward to this holiday season. There's a lot of huge titles to choose from.

Not sure until Gamestop gives out their discounts...
