Crystal Bearers sold 1/3 of the first shipment on day one. I think it performs as expected from Squenix.

Of course will Dragon Quest X be a Wii exclusive.

And I think Squenix has some other Wii titles in production.

You do?  People like trestes seem to think that S-E will ditch Wii after this, but I think he's being WAAAAAAAAY too pessimistic, as is everybody else on VGChartz.

lol, if you listen to trestres or yushire about Nintendo you would think they are barely selling 10k units a week world wide and there have been no "hardcore" games since Zelda, which doesn't count since it was a multiplatform with the GC.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

FFCC:TCB

Is going to be a great game, but it wont do what FFCC for GC did, it wont have the same feel, the two games only share the FFCC title and that's it.

Don't expect identical sales.

FFCC could do better or worse that it's like named console counter part.

I y'all are going too far with this "ported to PSP" nonsense. Just because a Final Fantasy spinoff bombs, suddenly Dragon Quest X is in danger of doing the same?

Dragon Quest fans are not console fans(yes many overlap though). Dragon Quest could go to the NGage and probably still sell millions. Though if you can get Dragon Quest you can make grow a smaller niche market on the console. If this console generation does last 10years(unlikly) DQX will boost games like Tales Of and encourage more Wii RPGs. Though don't expect a Wii RPG market as the single biggest like previous gens.



Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
