Forums - Microsoft - Modern Warfare 2 What did u Do?

Mine only RRoD once, but it did take about 3 weeks. Luckily, my friend wasn't playing his and lent it to me for that time. So he's exaggerating a little for effect, no need to rip his throat out -.- maybe he is new, and it just happens to be the first thing he posts. Does attacking him help the situation?

Yes, lol.

When did yours RROD?  I live accross the country from Texas (where the repair center was) and I still got it back within 2 weeks.  I think pretty much any RROD within the last year has been replaced instantly with another already repaired 360, so if yours was more than a year ago, or you happen to live where shipping times are rather long, that'd explain some of it.

My wii is working fine, can't wait for the port in two years.

from the review of Modern Warfare Reflex that I read, it would be best for you to just get a game which has been designed for the Wii first and foremost

Not too long ago actually, it was this previous July. I had it for 2 years without a problem, and I live in CT. Shipping times are FAST here, they got it after 2 days (got an email that they were processing it).

Wrong.  360 version is better in every way.  Only slightly, and not a deal breaker in any respects.  But it got the clear victory as far as which version was better.

i just got my ps3 version and it look pretty much the same nut i just started

Modern Warfare 2 Gave me auto-aim! To make it a casual experience so my girlfriend can play!

Thanks :D

Na that's why I bought the PC version.

"That doesn't mean he bought 7 consoles, I have plenty of friends on their 4th-5th console, all provided by MS." I wonder if MS counts those as sales? Why not, they were "shipped", and if they did count them, does that mean that 360 hardware sales are inflated by 30% (RROD rate). But then that's just for 1 RROD, you must assume 30% of the returned 360 will RROD also, etc, etc. For the record, my first PS3 stopped reading blu-rays after 1 week, bad laser, so I returned it to Target and got another and was back in business, that was a year ago. Since, it's froze a couple of times, once during Uncharted 2. I had to turn it off and back on again, dammit!
And night surge, why the distrust? I guess everyone who has 1 post definitely is a troll? Can't believe that 360's have a high RROD rate? In a way, your the troll, butting in, accusing others of being a troll. And now you got me doing it!
