Echoes of Time Wii deserved to fail.....#1 worst atemp to cash in ever this GEN and probably period...so using it as a measure means nothing..overall lets judt wait till 1st week sales....BTW MH IS NOT A RPG!!!

Neither is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. It's more of an action adventure game. Some my say it's an Action RPG but that's just code for an action adventure game.

All I'm trying to say is that I'm not ready to write this one off as a failure just yet; let's wait and see if it does any better than its opening sales day or if it can maintain legs.

Oh, and by the way, this will be my last post here for the entire year. I'll be back in 2010.

^ true....but why do ppl classify MH as RPG when its not?.....on second save it...i dont want derail the thread and im too tired to debaye so i save it for tomorrow

My prediction was 40k first week, looks plausible. Well, another Wii game flopped in Japan.

Maybe Echoes of Time for the Wii did more damage to the IP than anyone thought. Bad games have a way of turning off people to a series. It's just a thought.

bad sales, but i was afraid this might happen. There doesn't seem to be much hype for the game at all, and honestly Square has done an awful job defining the game. 30/40 from famitsu probably doesn't help either.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Well, I certainly hope this does better. I thought it looked much better than Tales of Graces.

26000 first day is bad, regardless of the shipment.

I'm pretty sure Crystal Chronicles was hurt once people played the first game.  Sure it was fun with 4 players that all had GBAs but it was quite boring if you tried to play alone.  They should really retire the spinoff IP and make another one.

That's a flop, even by Crystal Chronicles standards.
