Which is exactly why I'm staying away from these forums. Until I get the game for myself, I will lurk away from this place and then we'll talk sales. Anyway, those are just first day sales. I don't even know WHAT the first week ones will be, and frankly, I don't care either.

Ha! I think a lot of us were expecting this, unfortunately.

I thought it'd do bad, but still at least near 100k week one (doesn't seem possible now). Oh well. I wonder what Square's reaction to this will be...

Of course, I think it may do OK on its first week overall, like about 75,000 or 50,000. Yes, that is low, but it's better than not selling at all.

Try to caps lock maybe than he will see it. Sales are abysmal, for final fantasy title.

That's first week sales.  I'm not sure about first day.  Maybe someone has that info somewhere...

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

So looks like week 1 numbers will be around 35-40K

If not then at least at about 50K.

Oh geez I was expecting about 50k-75k first week. Obviously not even close. Guess the Japanese were not looking forward to this FF spinoff... even though they buy every one of them on DS haha.

There's still time for it to reach the lower end of your prediction. It'd only have to double its Day One numbers, which is immenintly possible.
