Nice analisis trestres, ironically their best selling console game in this generation is a shitty Dragon Quest spin-off for Wii, they lost all momentum with the platform and unfortunately the platform in itself. If that game were released today I'm sure it would have sold poorly.

No it's not, Arkham Asylum is.

Not in Japan.  Arkham Asylum doesn't release there until January.

I don't he specified any region.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

No, but the thread's centered on the Japanese market and sales.  Highlighting the success of DQ Swords (around ~600k Japan), I figured that's what was being referenced.

I love people who gets virtual orgasms everytime a game "bombs".

Crystal Bearers is a 15h action adventure game.
It got 30/40 in Famitsu.
Having Final Fantasy in the title won't help much, considering the milking SE has done this gen.

'And Monster Hunter.  Wait, what?'.

MH3 did like 3K last week. Core gamers flocking to the Wii...

Just wait for Samurai Warriors 3!

Translation: "Monster Hunter 3 may have destroyed every other 3rd party game in Japan to become the best selling console game this gen to date, but it only sold 3k this week. So...so there!"

I can't believe people still talk about MH3 like it were a failure. Move on, it's embarrassing.

BOMBASTIC, will be lucky to reach 40k first week

'I'm guessing Capcom's financial statment almost gave you a heart attack.'.

No, but their Q3 statement is going to be worth a laugh.

PSN - hanafuda

That's true actually, MH did move nearly 1 million units in 1 region, many HD games don't even hit 500k WW.

However I'm not sure if MH is hardcore... maybe the Pay to Play portion of it is hardcore or maybe not depends, I haven't played the game yet though.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

lol, you know they make money from people paying for online right? And expecting a single game to make a company that isn't Nintendo massive amounts of money for two quarters is pretty ridiculous on its own.

Fixed for accuracy.

And don't forget what I told you. Facts and logic are the detractor's greatest weakness.

meh, I put up at short clip for the start of the game here,

the game's presentation is good, that's for sure, and the JP voice is a lot better than what I've heard vs English so far.
