No, but the thread's centered on the Japanese market and sales. Highlighting the success of DQ Swords (around ~600k Japan), I figured that's what was being referenced.
I love people who gets virtual orgasms everytime a game "bombs".
Crystal Bearers is a 15h action adventure game.
It got 30/40 in Famitsu.
Having Final Fantasy in the title won't help much, considering the milking SE has done this gen.

Translation: "Monster Hunter 3 may have destroyed every other 3rd party game in Japan to become the best selling console game this gen to date, but it only sold 3k this week. So...so there!"

I can't believe people still talk about MH3 like it were a failure. Move on, it's embarrassing.

'I'm guessing Capcom's financial statment almost gave you a heart attack.'.
No, but their Q3 statement is going to be worth a laugh.

That's true actually, MH did move nearly 1 million units in 1 region, many HD games don't even hit 500k WW.
However I'm not sure if MH is hardcore... maybe the Pay to Play portion of it is hardcore or maybe not depends, I haven't played the game yet though.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.

meh, I put up at short clip for the start of the game here,
the game's presentation is good, that's for sure, and the JP voice is a lot better than what I've heard vs English so far.
